Post Graduate Work Permit
The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program allows students graduated from eligible Canadian designated learning institutions (DLIs) to get an open work permit to gain Canadian work experience.

Eligibility Requirements
Study Completion
You have completed an academic, vocational or professional training program at an eligible institution in Canada that is at least 8 months in duration leading to a degree, diploma or certificate.
Full Time Studies
You maintained full-time student status during each academic session of the program you completed and submit as part of post-grad work permit application. Except only if you were authorized leave from studies or in final academic session.
Proof Of Completion
You have received a transcript and an official letter from the eligible DLI confirming that you have met the requirements to complete program of study.
Application Timeline
You apply within 180 days of study permit expiry or date if you were authorized to study without the study permit
