
International Students Pathway-PNP
All provinces in Canada support international students to transition to work, immigrate and settle in the province of education. You can choose the province of study also on the basis of key provincial requirements listed below for each province's immigration.
British Columbia-Skilled Worker - International graduate stream
Education
Graduate having a valid credential from an eligible Canadian university or college within the last three years.
Work Experience
Have a wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
Employment offer
Have accepted a job offer from a B.C. employer. The job must be classified as NOC TEER category 1, 2, or 3.
Occupation/NOC
The job must be classified as NOC TEER category 1, 2, or 3 management occupations (NOC TEER 0) are not eligible under this stream.
Employer requirements
Employer must be willing to support application and provide supporting documentation. They must meet the eligibility criteria and fulfill certain responsibilities during the application process.
Others
Show you can support yourself and your dependents. Have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada.
British Columbia
Skilled Worker - International Post graduate stream
You have a graduate degree in science or engineering from an eligible B.C. institution. You don't need a job offer to apply.
Education
You have obtained eligible graduate-level education from an eligible program of study at a post-secondary institution in B.C. in the last three years.
Master's program
You have graduated in the last three years with a master’s or doctorate degree in one of the eligible programs in the natural, applied or health sciences disciplines.
Doctor/PHD Program
You may be eligible to apply to this stream if you are a PhD student (in any field of study) at a public B.C. post-secondary institution.
Additional
You have completed at least 50% of study from within Canada.
Intent
Demonstrate that you have the ability and intent to live, work and economically establish in B.C.
Others
Have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada.
